We started Little Fern because newborn skin deserves better basics.
Little Fern was born out of a simple frustration: too many baby clothes are scratchy, synthetic, or built to be outgrown in a month. We wanted soft, breathable staples in colors that actually match a nursery — and a business built to make only what's needed, nothing more.
Fewer, better things — made when they're needed.
Baby clothes get worn for a few months before they're outgrown. We think that's a good reason to make thoughtful pieces, not a reason to overproduce and discount. Every Little Fern design starts with fabric and fit first, trend second.
Gentle
GOTS-certified organic cotton, tested for harmful substances.
Considered
A small, seasonal palette instead of constant new drops.
Honest
We tell you exactly how our clothes are made and shipped.
How a Little Fern order actually happens.
We don't warehouse pallets of baby clothes. Instead, we work with a certified organic manufacturing and fulfillment partner who produces and ships each order as it comes in — on our site and on Amazon alike.
01 · You place an order
Whether it's through littlefernbaby.com or our Amazon storefront, your order is confirmed and paid for instantly — same products, same prices, same care.
02 · Our partner produces it
Orders route to our certified organic cotton manufacturer, who cuts, sews, and quality-checks each piece against GOTS and OEKO-TEX standards.
03 · It ships from the US
Finished orders leave our US-based fulfillment center in a plastic-free, Little Fern branded mailer — typically arriving in 2–5 business days.
Because we only make what's ordered, we can offer more colors and sizes without the waste — or the markup — of a traditional warehouse model. It also means an order occasionally takes a day or two longer during high-demand periods, which we think is a fair trade for less overproduction.
